Volleyball Recap: Jesuit Falls Despite Big Games from Luca Mcglynn and Naryan Banerjee

Jesuit suffered their biggest defeat since May 18, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Oak Ridge Trojans, falling 3-0. The Marauders' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-11.

Jesuit's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Naryan Banerjee, who had 11 digs, and Luca McGlynn, who had three digs and two aces. McGlynn is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games he's played.

Jesuit's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-4. As for Oak Ridge, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.
