Basketball Recap: Bonanza Takes a Loss

Bonanza lost against North Lake back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bonanza Antlers fell just short of the North Lake Cowboys by a score of 45-42. While losing is never fun, the Antlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Cowboys are ranked 18th).

Bonanza has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for North Lake, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonanza will take on Chiloquin in a tournament on Friday. North Lake and Yoncalla will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th.
