Baseball Recap: Charlottesville Takes a Loss

Charlottesville managed to slip by Fluvanna County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Black Knights lost 7-0 to the Flying Flucos on Thursday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Black Knights were not able to get on the board.

Charlottesville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5. As for Fluvanna County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Charlottesville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-7 victory against Waynesboro on the 2nd. As for Fluvanna County, they will head out to square off against Albemarle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flying Flucos are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
