Soccer Game Preview: Jack Britt vs. Gray's Creek

Gray's Creek will be up against a hot Jack Britt squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Buccaneers' defense stepped up to hand Douglas Byrd a 9-0 shutout on Monday. It was an even better day for Kaylen Sprague as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Gray's Creek made sure to put some goals up on the board against South View on Monday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 7-0 win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Gray's Creek's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 195th, while South View are ranked 393rd).

Jack Britt's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for Gray's Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6-1.
