Jackson hadn't done well against Monroe recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Timberwolves pulled ahead with a 28-27 photo finish over the Bearcats. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 56-7 win the Bearcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2019.

Colby Bossert had a dynamite game, throwing for 221 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 59 yards. What's more, he racked up 87.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September.

Despite the loss, Monroe still got an impressive performance from Chris Britt, who threw for 214 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 56 yards and one score.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Monroe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

As of now, neither Jackson nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
