McKinney Boyd hasn't had much luck against Prosper recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. McKinney Boyd will be playing at home against Prosper at 7:15 p.m. McKinney Boyd is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

McKinney Boyd took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Plano West, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. McKinney Boyd had just enough and edged out Plano West 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Broncos have posted since March 22, 2024.

Olivia Locke was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckham Manley, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Prosper's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 9-4 to Plano West.

McKinney Boyd has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. Prosper's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 12-2.
