Baseball Recap: Enterprise Takes a Loss

Enterprise lost against Southeast Lauderdale back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 3-0 to the Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Toby Thornhill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on three hits and racked up 11 Ks.

Enterprise's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-13. As for Southeast Lauderdale, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-2-1.

While Enterprise had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
