Softball Recap: Navarre Wins Going Away Against Crestview

Navarre not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 28th. They put the hurt on the Crestview Bulldogs with a sharp 15-5 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Navarre got a massive performance out of Renee Hester, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Hester a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Karsyn Riddle, who scored three runs while going 3-for-5.

Hester wasn't the only one making solid contact: Navarre kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. The Raiders are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Navarre's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6. As for Crestview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Navarre has already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Choctawhatchee on the 8th. As for Crestview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Milton on the 10th.
