Baseball Game Preview: Fort Lupton Bluedevils vs. Frederick Golden Eagles

The Fort Lupton Bluedevils will take on the Frederick Golden Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fort Lupton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Estes Park on Tuesday. They lost 21-1 to the Bobcats. The Bluedevils have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Fort Lupton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josiah Gonzales, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Frederick came up short against Monarch on Thursday, falling 12-2.

Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Fort Lupton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
