After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Pecos finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Sandia Prep Sundevils. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pecos saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Holton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Pecos' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Sandia Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
