Savannah Hall and Madison Norris certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hall posted eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Norris scored four points. Hall is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played.
Even though they lost, Cowan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 6.3 offensive boards per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 12.6.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Daleville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Pratcher, who went 11-for-19 to rack up 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. That's the most boards Pratcher has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addisyn Gothrup, who went 5-for-7 on her way to 16 points.
Cowan's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Daleville, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Cowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Daleville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-41 defeat against North Miami on the 8th.
