Volleyball Recap: Iola-Scandinavia Comes Up Short

Iola-Scandinavia and Shiocton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Iola-Scandinavia had to settle for second. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 3-0. The Thunderbirds just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Iola-Scandinavia was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 25-21.

Iola-Scandinavia's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Shiocton, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-11.

Iola-Scandinavia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shiocton, they will venture away from home to square off against Three Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
