Basketball Game Preview: Pinecrest Academy Paladins vs. Harvester Christian Academy Hawks

The Pinecrest Academy Paladins will take on the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvester Christian Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Pinecrest Academy, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Pinecrest Academy blew past Cherokee Christian, posting a 47-13 victory. The game marked the Paladins' most dominant win of the season.

Harvester Christian Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 52-35 bruising from Creekside Christian Academy on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Cougars are ranked 111th).

Pinecrest Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.2 points per game. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
