Baseball Recap: North Iberville Comes Up Short

North Iberville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the White Castle Bulldogs, falling 16-5.

Anthony Russo was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 1-for-1. Zion Pryer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

North Iberville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12-1. As for White Castle, their win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-16.

Looking ahead, North Iberville will challenge Port Allen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for White Castle, they will take on False River at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
