Basketball Recap: Foster's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Foster put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Clover Park Timberwolves with points to spare, taking the game 71-53. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Leading Foster to victory were Jeremiah White and Michael Hoston. White went 8 of 11 en route to 18 points along with seven assists and seven steals, while Hoston went 6 of 11 en route to 13 points along with six assists and six boards. White is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kebba Sanneh, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Foster was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clover Park only racked up 11 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Clover Park lost, don't look at Marshall Scott. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Grant, who posted six points and five boards.

Foster's record now sits at 4-0. As for Clover Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Foster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-51 win against West Seattle on the 14th. As for Clover Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-60 victory against Fife on the 16th.
