Basketball Game Preview: Pepperell Dragons vs. Coosa Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Pepperell Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Coosa Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pepperell will be strutting in after a victory while Coosa will be coming in after a defeat.

Pepperell is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 64-18 win over Trion. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Dragons with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Coosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 51-41 to Franklin.

Coosa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pepperell, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Pepperell came up short against Coosa when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 46-42. Can Pepperell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
