Boyd County had won 14 straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 26-4-1 to make it 15. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Raceland Rams. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won seven in a row.

As for Raceland, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since May 4, 2024.

For Raceland's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadin Shore, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Shore's first of the season.
