Soccer Recap: Providence Christian Takes a Loss

If Providence Christian was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Ariton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dothan Wolves on Friday. Providence Christian haven't had much luck with Dothan recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Providence Christian was without their leading scorer, Will Nicholls, in Friday's contest. With Nicholls sitting this one out, Stuart Crim got some extra time on the pitch (160 vs. his season average of 85.3).

Providence Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-3-4. As for Dothan, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Christian will host Ariton at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Dothan, they will challenge Enterprise at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
