Football Recap: Somerset Academy Skates Past Somerset Prep with Ease + How To Watch

Somerset Academy won the last time they faced Somerset Prep and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers blew past Somerset Prep, posting a 36-8 win. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tyson Baier threw for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Kaj Baker was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards and one score.

The victory made it two in a row for Somerset Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 15 points in those games. As for Somerset Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Somerset Academy and Somerset Prep will both be playing Somerset Academy - Canyons the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Somerset Prep will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on the 31st.
