Basketball Recap: Ryan Clifton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calaveras over Bret Harte

Calaveras lost against Bret Harte back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Calaveras Red Hawks fell to the Bret Harte Bullfrogs 48-43.

Calaveras lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ryan Clifton, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Logan Pedersen, who posted ten points.

Calaveras' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Bret Harte, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Calaveras will look to defend their home court on Monday against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. Calaveras is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.4 points per game this season. As for Bret Harte, they will be taking part in a tournament against Beyer at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
