Soccer Recap: Keene Comes Up Short

Keene was the 6-1 winner over Dover when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blackbirds fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Keene came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Dover are ranked 68th).

Keene's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2-2. As for Dover, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5.

Keene has already played their next match, a 4-1 victory against Timberlane on the 18th. Dover has also already played their next game (against Windham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
