Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Catholic

Catholic extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Ashton Walker. The Catholic Crusaders simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks 89-41 thanks in part to Walker, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. Catholic is 10-2 when Walker posts eight or more rebounds, but 4-6 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Bullock, who went 7 for 12 en route to 18 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 75-33 win against Norfolk Christian on the 4th. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-50 victory against Hampton Christian Academy on the 6th.
