Volleyball Recap: Silverton Foxes vs. Corvallis Spartans
If Silverton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Woodburn on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Foxes fell just short of the Corvallis Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Foxes in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.
Silverton actually scored more points across those five sets (111-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 30-28, 16-25, 12-25, 25-21, 15-12.
