Soccer Recap: Fresta Valley Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against United Christian Academy on Monday, Fresta Valley Christian came back down to earth. The Pioneers fell just short of the Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Fresta Valley Christian now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Appalachian Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fresta Valley Christian will challenge Temple Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Temple Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Fresta Valley Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Appalachian Christian School, they will welcome Fishburne Military at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Appalachian Christian School will be up against Fishburne Military's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
