Baseball Game Preview: Baldwyn Bearcats vs. Pine Grove Panthers

Baldwyn is 2-8 against Pine Grove since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bearcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Pine Grove took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Baldwyn, who comes in off a win.

Baldwyn barely beat Belmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bearcats were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Cardinals on Monday. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pine Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 12-3 to Booneville.

Pine Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Baldwyn, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8-1.

Baldwyn might still be hurting after the 19-4 loss they got from Pine Grove in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
