Soccer Recap: Dawson County Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

It's playoff time, and Dawson County had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the LaGrange Grangers a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Dawson County's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while LaGrange are ranked 202nd).

Dawson County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for LaGrange, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Dawson County nor the Grangers have any future games scheduled.
