Westran won the last time they faced Knox County and things went their way on Friday too. The Westran Hornets simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knox County Eagles 59-28. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.

Westran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marshall Kitchen, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cruze Haynes, who posted nine points and three steals.

Westran smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive matches.

Westran pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Knox County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Westran will square off against Kirksville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Knox County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th.
