Soccer Recap: Santa Ana Valley Comes Up Short

Santa Ana Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santiago Cavaliers. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Santa Ana Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Santiago, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Los Amigos the next time they take the pitch. Santiago will head out to face Los Amigos at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Santa Ana Valley will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
