Baseball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin lost to West Henderson on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 9-7. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Isaiah Deas made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Franklin is 5-1 when Deas posts two or more runs, but 6-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Anderson Terrell, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for West Henderson, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

As of now, neither Franklin nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
