Baseball Game Preview: Westlake Thunder vs. Lone Peak Knights

Westlake is on an eight-game streak of home losses, and Lone Peak a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Westlake Thunder will be playing at home against the Lone Peak Knights at 3:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Westlake fell victim to Skyridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-0.

Westlake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln Wilde, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Lone Peak also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Lehi by a score of 2-0 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since April 1st.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Lone Peak, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
