            Umatilla hasn't had much luck against Eustis recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Umatilla Bulldogs will take on the Eustis Panthers at 7:00  p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Umatilla was handed a heart-breaking two-run  defeat in their last  game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Bradley Central  on Thursday. Umatilla never let Bradley Central get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten  runs or more this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Gavin Touchton, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March of 2024.  Jayden Hampson also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Umatilla  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .548. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Eustis). They blew past East Ridge 12-1 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
  Wyatt Cumbie was a standout: he scored a  run and  stole  Three bases. while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Jabriel Rivera Caraballo, who  went 3-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Umatilla's record now sits at 7-5. As for Eustis, their record now sits at 10-4.
 Umatilla came up short against Eustis when the teams last played  back in February, falling  7-2. Can Umatilla avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
