After only two runs in their last game, Ruskin Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Gulf Coast HEAT on Friday. The Ruskin Christian Warriors put the hurt on Gulf Coast HEAT with a sharp 17-6 victory. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Ruskin Christian let Aadi Cayasso and Angel Martinez III run wild. Cayasso scored three runs and stole Five bases. while going 2-for-4, while Martinez III scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Cayasso is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Quinonez Jr., who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Ruskin Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Ruskin Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ruskin Christian will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Foundation Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foundation Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Ruskin Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, they will take on Central Florida Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Gulf Coast HEAT has given up an average of 15.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
