Volleyball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson lost against MAST Academy back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals came up short against the Makos, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-5, 25-5.

MAST Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ariadna Ros, who had ten assists and four aces. With that strong performance, Ros is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game. Another player making a difference was Ale Yaniz, who had four aces.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for MAST Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will challenge South Miami at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for MAST Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Miami Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
