Basketball Recap: Pleasantville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Pleasantville won the last time they faced Woodward-Granger and things went their way on Friday too. The Pleasantville Trojans walked away with a 68-61 win over the Woodward-Granger Hawks. The victory was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pleasantville's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Woodward-Granger, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Pleasantville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-64 victory against Chariton on the 1st. As for Woodward-Granger, they will face off against Panorama at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
