Basketball Recap: Palestine Comes Up Short

Palestine won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They had to suffer through a 70-40 loss at the hands of the Connally Cadets. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Palestine dropped their record down to 8-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Connally, their record now sits at 9-5.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Palestine Wildcats face off against the Livingston Lions at 10:20 a.m. on Friday. As for Connally, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Southwest Christian School at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Southwest Christian School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
