After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cheltenham, William Tennent was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Lower Moreland Lions 12-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

William Tennent got a great performance from Mike Woehr as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Woehr has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cody Devor was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Kyle White was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

With the win, William Tennent broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10. As for Lower Moreland, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat William Tennent by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday.
