Basketball Game Preview: Wilmington Friends Quakers vs. Sanford Warriors

Wilmington Friends will bounce into Monday's match after beating Tower Hill, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Wilmington Friends took down Tower Hill 56-38 on Friday.

Sanford has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-51 heartbreaker at the hands of Middletown. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since January 6, 2024.

Wilmington Friends pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points over those games. As for Sanford, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
