Basketball Recap: Lincoln Find Success

Lincoln hadn't done well against Lakeside recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lincoln Leopards came out on top against the Lakeside Knights by a score of 53-46. The Leopards have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Lakeside lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jace Cunningham, who went 6 for 13 en route to 16 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Reece Remus, who posted eight points and eight boards.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Lakeside, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-3.

Lincoln will be playing at home against Natoma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside has already played their next match (against Osborne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
