Volleyball Recap: Drexel Bobcats vs. Midway Vikings
There's no place like home for Drexel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Midway Vikings on Thursday. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 loss the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.
Drexel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-17, 25-17, 27-25.
Bella Landis and Ella Jamison certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Landis had ten digs, while Jamison had 12 digs and nine kills. Jamison is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in the last four games she's played.
Drexel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-9-1. As for Midway, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20-1.
