On Tuesday, Cactus Shadows humbled Arcadia with a 61-10 victory. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Mesquite, falling 120-20. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Cactus Shadows has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Cactus Shadows was able to grind out a solid win over St. Mary's when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 72-61. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was St. Mary's Gwen Carter, who went 9 for 16 en route to 31 points along with five assists and five boards.
