West Florence is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 76-14 defeat at the hands of Ridge View. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

Meanwhile, Westwood came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Lugoff-Elgin by a score of 57-48 on Tuesday.

Westwood's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-11. As for West Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

West Florence was taken down by Westwood 64-19 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can West Florence avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
