Basketball Recap: Plum Takes a Loss

Plum lost against Shaler Area back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Plum Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to the Shaler Area Titans. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plum's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Shaler Area, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plum will head out to square off against Franklin Regional at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Plum has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Shaler Area, they are taking a road trip to take on Penn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
