Basketball Recap: West Chicago Takes a Loss

West Chicago lost to DeKalb back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Barbs.

West Chicago has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for DeKalb, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Chicago will host Fenton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeKalb, they will welcome Oswego at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
