Volleyball Game Preview: Crenshaw Cougars vs. Dymally Challengers

Crenshaw is 0-7 against Dymally since September of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Cougars will head out to face off against the Challengers at 4:00 p.m.

Crenshaw came up short against Locke on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Crenshaw ultimately came up short, they really made Locke work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-6, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Dymally earned a 3-1 victory over George Washington Prep on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Challengers.

Dymally had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 28-26, 25-17, 25-13.

Dymally's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Crenshaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Crenshaw suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Dymally when the teams last played last Monday. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
