Recap: Westampton Tech Panthers vs. Burlington Township Falcons
The Westampton Tech Panthers were the 66-61 winner over the Burlington Township Falcons when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Westampton Tech took a serious blow against Burlington Township on Monday, falling 77-45. Westampton Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Shakur Anderson and Dante Horace certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Anderson scored 14 points along with seven rebounds, while Horace scored eight points. Anderson is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Baron Davis had an outrageously good game for Burlington Township as he scored 24 points along with six assists and five steals. Davis is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Quayd Hendryx, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Westampton Tech now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Burlington Township, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westampton Tech will challenge Medford Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Medford Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Saturday. Burlington Township won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Burlington City at 5:15 p.m. on December 19th.
