Booker T. Washington suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Miami Beach by a score of 52-50. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Booker T. Washington in their matchups with Miami Beach: they've now lost three in a row.
Killian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 80-19 loss at the hands of Southridge. While losing is never fun, Killian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 706th, while Southridge is ranked 156th).
Booker T. Washington has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Killian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Booker T. Washington beat Killian 43-36 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Killian's Jermaine Roper, who scored 17 points along with five assists and three steals.
