Coronado is 8-2 against Plainview since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will challenge the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Coronado is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, Coronado got the win against Frenship Memorial by a conclusive 18-7.

The team relied heavily on Caden Langill, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Campbell Stanek was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Coronado always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Plainview beat Palo Duro 6-1 on Thursday.

Coronado's record is now 14-10. As for Plainview, their record now sits at 7-15-1.

Coronado was able to grind out a solid victory over Plainview in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 8-4. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
