Baseball Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

St. Charles lost against Caledonia back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Saints fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-1. The matchup marked the Fighting Saints' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Charles and nudges their season record down to 3-2. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only two runs. As for Caledonia, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, St. Charles is taking a road trip to challenge Lewiston-Altura at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Caledonia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wabasha-Kellogg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
