Volleyball Recap: South Pittsburg Comes Up Short

South Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dade County Wolverines, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

While South Pittsburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-22.

South Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dade County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, South Pittsburg will challenge Whitwell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dade County, they will take on Ringgold at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
