Football Recap: Kellan J Oliver Leads Wall's Defense on Friday

Wall lost to Brownwood back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hawks blew past the Lions 35-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Wall can attribute much of their success to Landon York, who threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Robertson, who picked up 32 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Wall didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kellan J Oliver, Gunner King, and Levi B King picked up one apiece.

Wall's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Brownwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wall will challenge Jim Ned at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brownwood, they will square off against Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
